• The day passed in a blur, and everything seemed to return to normal, but the closeness was missing. Jayson had created a distance between himself and everyone else, keeping his boundaries close to only Emilio, Marianne, and Michael.
• Vincent had offered his apology as planned, and though Jake accepted it, he still didn’t view Vincent as a close friend.
