Chapter 31 Eric Grows Suspicious

• "Who was calling you? Why didn’t you answer?” Eric asked, his eyes full of suspicion.
• Alexa panicked, her fingers moving quickly to press the power button on her phone before Eric could catch a glimpse. “No one important,” she replied, placing her phone on the nightstand.
• She decided to ignore the message sent to her. This wasn’t the right time to deal with it, especially with Eric being right there. Besides, she was tired of dealing with the person who had been bothering her endlessly, even before she arrived here. Her peace had lasted only a few days before that person somehow got her new number.
