Chapter 61
- EVELYN
- It was as if we had both passed out after the most intense, and mind-shattering moment of our lives. My body felt weightless, floating between exhaustion and bliss, my legs tangled with his as if they had forgotten how to exist without him. Every nerve ending still hummed with electricity, aftershocks of pleasure rippling through me with each breath I took.
- We reeked of dried sweat from everything we had done. His arm was still draped around my waist, possessive even in sleep, his fingers curled slightly against my stomach like he was afraid to let go. The rhythm of his breathing tickled the back of my neck, a reminder that he was still by my side, that this wasn't some fever dream I had slipped into. The scent of his cologne, mixed with sweat and something uniquely him, surrounded me like an alluring cloud I never wanted to escape.
