• I stretched again, trying to wake myself up properly as I looked over at Ethan, who was still asleep on his side facing me. It wasn't until I saw a pair of red eyes staring back at me that I realized that Ethan was awake. I quickly snapped up, my eyes widening in fear as they began scanning my surroundings, trying to find out who might've woken Ethan up.
• “Calm down, sweetheart, it's just me.” Ethan whispered softly before letting out a laugh as he ran his fingertips down my cheeks.
• “Sorry.” I apologized instantly, resting my head down on his shoulder.
