• I woke up the next morning and yawned as I stretched my arms. I reached for my phone which was resting on the nightstand before opening the messaging app.
• My eyes widened slightly when I saw the message from Jake. I smiled to myself. A small part of me wished that Jake would come into my room at this very minute, wrap his arms around me and pull me into his embrace.
