Chapter 2 The Special Guests

• My mom and I prepare our best to welcome her special guests.
• When the moment we had been waiting for arrived, I saw the figure of a handsome man who was mature and seemed to be the same age as my mother.
• As soon, as I see my mom kiss him and hold him so tight, she looks so happy.
• “Claire, this is Mason Greenwood, he was my boyfriend, and we will get married soon.” My mom looks so happy and flattered.
• I'm smiling and introducing myself to him, I feel so happy for them, Mason looks so wonderful, and he looks deeply in love with my mom.
• But suddenly, I realized something wrong with him, and I remember another Greenwood.
• I suddenly thought about Ethan Greenwood. But I think that's different from him, that's impossible because Mason was a very nice and great guy, he must be so different from Ethan.
• “Anyway, where is your son?”
• “He already prepares himself, he will come to us soon.”

• “So you guys already know each other?” Mason tease us.
• “Yes, I'm Claire and Ethan is my classmate.”
• “Good, Wow, so you too will get along well and go to school together.” Mason looks so happy.
• “Claire, is that you? You look so different.” Ethan looks shocked.
• I nod and kept staring at him, seeing how weird and mesmerized he was after seeing me showing the best version of myself.
• “So we will get married tomorrow.” My mom looks so happy, I never saw her so happy like this before since my dad left us when I was a kid.
• “Okay, I'm so happy for both of you, I'm eagerly awaiting all the best in preparing for your guys' wedding.”
• “Thank you so much, Claire.”
• That's what I should do because I want to see my mom happy like before, she looks so happy with her relationship with Mason, so I think all the best to support her.
• But Ethan was my bully, everything will seem like a nightmare for me.
• I must do my best to escape from him, once I finish school, as soon I will leave him and move to another country for my undergraduate study.
• The next day, all the Greenwood servants seemed very busy preparing for the wedding of Mason and my mom.
• I immediately went to the bathroom to take a bath and put on the dress that my mom had given to me.
• But suddenly, I see Ethan right next to my room, and he got closer to me.
• “I can't wait for us to become step-siblings, I must be so happy, anyway don't ruin all the beautiful moments between our parents, and just let them be happy.”
• “I do Ethan, I want to see my mom happy, I don't need your advice.”
• Ethan pull his body closer to me, grabbed my hands, and kiss it.
• “But, you will need me and be completely attracted to me Claire, that will be so irresistible for you, just wait, the time will be the answer.”
• “S-stop it, Ethan! What are you doing?”
• He smirks and leaves me, without saying anything.
• I am just done preparing myself and all the best for my mom's happiest wedding day and I see myself looking so perfect, I think I will keep my looks as the new Claire.
• I try to look for fresh air and open the window, but suddenly, I see Jake already waiting for me in the hall. And keep waving his hands at me.
• “Claire, I'm here, please come to me!”
• As soon, as I go downstairs to meet him. And Jake looks so handsome today in his suit, he seemed to know if today is an important day for me, even though I didn't tell him.
• “Why you don't tell me about your mom's wedding? I just know it from her when I kept calling you but no answer, and she tells me anything, so I suddenly change myself and am ready to celebrate your mom's wedding with you.”
• “Oh yeah Jake, I'm so sorry, but this is all unexpected for me, I apologize for not telling you before.”
• “Anyway, I have a beautiful gift for you Claire, I hope we will follow your mom and I want we get marry soon.”
• “What?” I feel shocked and think twice to understand Jake's words.
• Jake takes something from his pocket, and he shows me a beautiful icy looks diamond necklace, that's exquisite.
• “This is for you Claire and let me help you to wear this.”
• I close my eyes and let Jake help me to wear that beautiful diamond necklace, but suddenly, I feel shocked after hearing someone shouting at us.
• “Hey! What are you guys doing there?”
• I see Ethan who has been tidy with his suit, he looks so handsome and irresistible, but he looks so mad at me and Jake.
• “What are you doing here? Stay away from Claire!” Jake looks so upset and comes closer to Ethan.
• “Nothing can separate us, and we will live together because I will be her stepbrother, if you want to get along with her, you must ask me first, but that's just useless because I will never let you be with her.”
• “What a ridiculous Ethan, all this time you always bully her with your girlfriend Mia, and now you would like to be with her? I do not trust you, you should stay away from her!”
• “No one can go against my orders, including yourself Jake, I want you to stay away from her!”
• “No I can't, she was my girlfriend, and know what you want!” Jake pulled Ethan's shirt tight and was ready to punch him.
• “No, please stop. Don't ruin my mom's happiest day, please stop.”
• I try to confront the anger between Jake and Ethan, but they still look so mad and each other.
