• I woke up in a cold sweat and an empty bed. My mate was out with Sabrina. Lucas had recently agreed to go see Aurelio and possibly give him his blood to complete the healing process. In an empty bed, I was scared. I'd just had a nightmare. In my dream, all the terrible memories of my life as Amaris surfaced. The era when Darian ruled the world was one filled with bloodshed.
