Chapter 57
- Elara’s POV
- I stood outside Sabrina’s door, practically bouncing with excitement. My heart pounded in my chest as a strange warmth filled me, something that felt too good to be true. I had to tell her. I just *had* to. I had finally been marked by Lucas. Marked! The bond that had been so elusive, so out of reach for so long, was now real. And I wanted to share it with Sabrina, the first person who had ever treated me with kindness, without judgment.
- The idea of telling Sabrina about my mark was thrilling, but at the same time, a little daunting. I couldn’t give her all the details—not because I didn’t trust her, but because she was Lucas’s sister. I knew better than anyone that people had a funny way of reacting when you crossed certain lines. Sabrina was family to him, and I didn’t want to cause any friction between them. But still, I couldn’t hold it in any longer. I needed to share this moment with her.
