Chapter 142 Aiden
- Third person POV
- Sophie released a deep sigh of relief at finally getting to relax as they arrived at Aiden's mansion. She slumped on his couch and spread her arms on the headrests, inspiring a chuckle from Aiden. "Are you that tired?" he asked while unbuttoning his tuxedo. Sophie smiled, trying her best not to look at the charming man. "Of course. I have been... busy for hours now" she cheered to herself for being able to hold her tongue on time and change what almost came out of her mouth. 'So close' she said inwardly, mentally patting her chest in consolation.
- 'But wait? Why am I even feeling this way? It's not like we are dating or something' she reprimanded herself. Then again, the thought of dating him couldn't help but make her blush. This is all the more reason why she needed to settle down. Aiden had already pulled off his tux and unbuttoned his white shirt, displaying his eight-pack, chest and intense upper muscles, which Sophie was doing all her best not to stare at, at least not to stare for too long. "Your mansion is beautiful" she said sincerely. The whole place screams of money but at the same time gives people the feeling of being at home.
