Chapter 104

Misty felt a voice softly drop into her ears, prompting her to turn and find Dimitry holding two coffee cups. She quickly wiped away her tears, masking her vulnerability as she met his gaze. Dimitry said nothing as he offered her one of the cups, and she silently accepted it. Gesturing towards a nearby table, he asked, "Can we sit there?" She nodded, and he led her to the table.
"I'm sorry for my behavior," Dimitry said as they settled in.
Summoning a small smile, Misty replied, "I'm sorry for hitting your friend." Her fingers instinctively found her pendant.
