Chapter 13

• Hazel avoids his presence, not willing to welcome him at all. "We need to talk," he husked, his presence unsettling her. Unwilling to face him, she turned and started walking away, but Wyatt seized her hand, pulled her into her room, and slammed the door behind him.
• "I have some rules on how I run my people in this house and my pack. Now you are serving me as my mistress. You have to follow the rules, too," he declared, scanning her angry face.
• "I am not your mistress," she retorted fiercely, a rebellious thought surfacing in her mind.
