Chapter 115 Aria

  • My vision blurs more and more, and the buzzing in my ears grows louder, until every sound around me is swallowed by an oppressive void. The pain in my body is unbearable, every muscle throbbing as if it’s being torn apart from the inside. I try to move, but exhaustion pins me down, crushing me under an invisible weight. I can hear Seraphina’s voice in the distance, distorted, dragging, as though being carried by a current. I have to stop her. She’s going after my children. I try to fight this suffocating paralysis, but my vision fades, and the world around me is consumed by darkness.
  • Everything goes still. There’s no pain, no sound, only a deep void I don’t know how to escape. Then, something shifts. I’m no longer there. My mind, my essence, carries me somewhere else. I’m in a forest. The trees are grotesque, their branches twisted like claws, stretching toward me. The ground is damp and covered in dead leaves, and there’s a strong scent of wet earth and something else… something rotten. The wind blows, carrying indistinct murmurs, voices that seem to whisper my name. Each sound echoes between the tall, gnarled trunks, encircling me.
  • My heart races. I try to understand where I am, but fear grips me, squeezing my chest like an invisible fist. Then, his voice cuts through the shadows.
