• We slept in the safe house and spent the whole next day monitoring the area. Vampires controlled the majority of the land, their groups patrolling the lone wolves' village as well. We were able to get as close as possible so that they wouldn't notice us. Vampires didn't have such an advanced sense of smell compared to werewolves. Their ability to detect a person from afar could be achieved only when a drop of blood was mixed with all the nature aromas.
