• We remained this way without talking to each other for the next twenty minutes, when he turned his face slowly to me. "Do you want me to continue being here?" His voice was lowered as he asked sort of meekly.
• I gazed at him, with thoughts flying through my mind. I was wondering about so many things. "Could he be saying this because he doesn't want to leave me?" This was the closest thought that came to mind but then if he had to stay here, that meant he would still be sick.
