• “What could be keeping him so long?” I began to wonder when I waited till evening and Charles wasn't yet back. It's over four hours. “Is the city so interesting that he has to spend such long hours?” I got disturbed immediately as I woke up from the sleep. I looked by my side and Amelia was still asleep. I tapped on her.
• She stared at her sides, feeling confused. The sleep hadn't left her eyes. “Charles is not yet back?” She questioned as though we had the same thing in mind.
