Chapter 83

• Third POV
• It so happened that Lucy left the park and headed directly to the lagoon where she was going to jump off the bridge and end her life. Her heart was turbulent and she wasn't in her correct senses, she wouldn't want to kill herself but then she was left with no choice, she had to do this. Lucy felt that this would be the only way she would get peace.
• She walked on foot to the bridge which was quite a lonely road, almost reaching there rain and thunderstorm began, lightning struck in the sky. She wasn't deterred from her decision, she even felt it supported her desire to end her life. Charles was driving back to the lounge and he had basically visited all places, except this lagoon. He wanted to pass by it again, not knowing it was going to rain heavily. Upon sensing the coming rain later, he tripled the speed at which he was driving. He didn't see any traffic along the way so he was feeling safe he wouldn't hit anyone but on the verge of driving over the corner of the bridge, he saw a lady crossing from the other end. It was too late to grab the brake.
