• Three days after the emergency board meeting, the official website of the Goldland Group of Companies released a brief statement.
• "After an internal investigation, it is confirmed that the president’s assistant, Miss Vanessa Tan, and Mr. Jasper Goldland only share a working relationship. The false information circulating online has affected the company, and Miss Vanessa Tan is suspended for further pending investigation."
• At the same time the statement was released, Jasper had his lawyer send a demand letter to Vanessa, asking her to return the seaside villa by a certain deadline.
