• I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at that. My parents were still hopeful that I would get my wolf, but I was certain the moon goddess had completely forgotten about me and didn’t grant me one. It was a weakness of mine, and I always dreaded full moon nights because I couldn’t participate in any pack activities.
