Chapter 13

• Aria.
• I said nothing as I nodded and grabbed my things before heading to the bathroom. I slammed the door loudly behind me as I took off my uniform with trembling hands and turned on the shower as if to drown my thoughts.
• I let the hot water burn into my skin, washing away the humiliation from today as tears rolled down my cheeks. My fingers found their way to the bracelet I wore on my left hand. It was a beautiful bracelet made from silver thread adorned with moon beads and a moon clasp. My mother gave it to me when I turned sixteen. Hoping my wolf would come out. But we had all been terribly disappointed when I didn’t shift.
