- “Why don’t you just admit she’s your girlfriend?” Antonio asked in a tone of frustration, standing dramatically at Tony’s door as if he were delivering the opening line of a low-budget soap opera.
- “Because she’s not,” Tony replied, not even bothering to look up. His voice was calm but filled with the kind of manufactured intensity you'd expect from a reality TV show confession.
- “If you admitted she was your girlfriend, Dad wouldn’t keep bugging you to find another woman. Seriously, how dense can you be?” Antonio threw his hands up like a washed-up actor playing the role of a misunderstood father.
