Chapter 30 Just A Little Lie
- Kelsie
- Lying to Felix about the party was fine in my mind when it was just a constructed idea, but now that I stand with Alexis outside the large Jackson residence filled to the brim with loud music and it’s become a reality, I feel the guilt creeping in. The Jackson’s house is huge with at least three visible floors and large steps and columns leading up to the front door. It looks like an old plantation mansion with elegant colonial architecture and colorful landscaping decorating the front of the property. I can’t see the back of the house very well, but I can already smell the livestock they supposedly have. I think back to last night when Felix told me about the “fillies”. I’ll have to take a look around later.
- The main door opens and Trent comes out, a red solo cup in his hand and I inwardly cringe. Of course I knew there was going to be tons of underage drinking and I’m thankful that I have immunity while undercover.
