Chapter 26 Cover Blown?

Anne-Marie is an odd girl. This is the first time I’ve even spoken to her. I’ve seen her around the halls of the school, but she has yet to reach out to me. She sits beside Trent, her long honey blonde hair tied back in a high ponytail that hangs over her shoulder as she listens to him talk about his latest football practice. I notice immediately that unlike Alexis, she listens intently and looks at him with that special look in her eyes and I immediately deduce that she has a crush on him. She sighs and rests her head on her chin longingly. Damn. This girl’s got it bad. And that explains why she has yet to reach out to me; I’m sure she knows that Trent has been ‘interested’ in me. I wouldn’t doubt her being jealous.
