Chapter 3

• "Morning Sir, how was your evening?" Evelin Lincoln's back-up PA asked him, smiling her bright smile flashing her perfect milky white teeth.
• "The usual Evelin, yours?" He replied to her.
• "Oh not too much as well sir, just with family and stuff" she says trying to get more of his attention which he ignores...
• "Please can you check what Sandra has done in my shedule and update it if needed, after that you can send it through the mail back to me!" He says sternly like a reall boss, while stepping inside his office after opening it with his keycard.
• "Okay sir i will!" She mumbles with a slight pout, seeinging that her presence is not having the desired effect on him.
• She quickly scooted back into Sandra´s office wich was now temporary hers until Sandra was back.
• In the middle of the morning Lincolb got an email which made his blood
• boil!!
• "Evelin?!.....come inside my office, now!!!" he yelled angrily, making people jump in shock outside his office on the same floor.
• "Sir??" She squeaked out while looking scared as hell at his outburst.
• "Would you mind telling me why this paper has your signature on it and I don't even know about it??" he spits in anger at her with blazing blue
• eyes who are now a shade darker.
• Evelin swallowed hard while reying to come up with an answer that would make Lincolns anger gow down a notch.
• "Sir i...i am sorry...i thought you knew? Sir Maxwell Jr asked me to sign and told me that you knew about it and....." but before she could finish her explanaition Lincoln cut her short.
• "Because that snake of a brother of mine, tells you to sign something doesn't mean that you don't have to check it with me first, Eveline! You

I thought you knew me better than that, I think I was wrong there, maybe i should have tried to do the work myself during Sadra´s absence!´ After that he walks to the window and sighs deeply while rubbing his temples, frustrated at the fact that again, his brother went behind his back doing things he shouldn't!!
• "Sandra will not be able to come back in yet but i will manage! i´ll give you till the end of this week and then i will personally terminate your contract!" He said in cold tone, not caring about her feelings as she looked at hom wide eyed in shock.
• After seconds of standing there she turn on her heels and walks out of his office, slamming the door behind her.
• "I can't believe this!! This is not the first time she worked alongside me as back-up PA so she knows from the beginning how I work, I made
• sure that all my employees know my way, so in that case, less mistakes or misunderstandings would happen but no, my rat of a brother had to do
• things his way.....AGAIN!!" He mutters while zipping his coffee.
• "Yak!! Who made this shit! This Isn't coffee!, Evelin!!!" he yelled again, now extremely annoyed.
• The door opens again, revealing a trembling Evelin.
• "S....s...sir?"
• "Did you make this coffee for me?"
• "Yes sir"
• "You know how i like my coffee and you've always given me what I wanted so why change now? This coffee tastes really bad!!" He says and
• she picks up the cup and smells it and then crunches her nose after a weird scent hit her nostrils.
• "I don't....understand sir it didn't smell like this when i freshly made it!" she said while slightly panicing in her head.
• "Yeah, yeah, now go and bring me a bottle of water from the fridge!" Lincoln barked while trowing the remainders of the coffe inside the plant that was standing next to his desk.
• Evelin went back to the kitchennette wondering what had happen with the coffee, since she clearly remembers that it was okay when she
• made it....did something happen to it?........."Wait i left it on the desk when i went to toilet for a minute....oh god i hope that someone didn't do a prank
• with it!!" she mutters, not knowingabout how close she is to the truth!.......
• Later in the evening....
• Lincoln gets ready for his date, spraying his favorite signature cologne on his dressshirt and some on his cheeks, then leaves for the restaurant where he will wait for.......wait what was her name again?....oh yeah Amanda! he smirked to himself.
• After checking himself in the mirror one last time, he grabs his keys of his ferrari and takes the levator down to the garage where he gets into his beloved Ferrari and takes off at high speed towards the city center.
• The moment he enters the restaurant, a waiter is already waiting for him to take him to his seat.
• "Would you mind bringing the wine card out for me?" Lincoln asks the man who nods and comes back a minute later with the wine card and gives it to LIncoln with a slight bow.
• After he chooses his favorite wine he places the order and waits while looking outside where people are passing by.
• Most of them are couples, smiling, laughing....how he wished he could also have somebody who truly loved and cared for him!! He thought sadly, but then his thinking was interrupted by a well manicured hand on his shoulder....

• After some more minutes he decides to just keep it short before he will lose his temper in public.
