• EMMA'S POV
• While I watched Bobby talking to Ava, I found myself in an internal battle. I couldn't help but think that they looked like the perfect couple, as if they had stepped right out of Victoria's Secret catalog. Both were tall and stunning, but at the same time, I couldn't shake the feeling that Bobby was downgrading himself by being with me.
• A waiter passed by with a tray of appetizers and offered me a snack. Before he could finish his question, I took nearly all the snacks from the tray and began eating them compulsively. I knew that both Bobby and Ava had noticed my reaction, but I couldn't stop eating. I shoved a cheese puff into my mouth and chewed on it aggressively as they watched me.
