• I watched the client's closing process with a mixture of excitement and anxiety. It was a significant deal for my marketing consulting company, and I wanted to ensure that everything went perfectly. The discussions were going well until Bobby and Miranda entered the office.
• Miranda was arm in arm with Bobby, and a wave of jealousy hit me instantly. I knew I shouldn't feel jealous, but it was hard not to notice how close they seemed to be. Bobby approached and apologized for the delay, explaining that Miranda had decided to order dessert.
