Chapter 9 — Hot Night

• “What the heck, you seriously want to do it in the car? I got all dressed up, looking fabulous, and you just want to do it in the car? Not even taking me out?” Mira complained. Dallas had managed to get back at her for her earlier frustration. He began driving the car away from Mira's luxurious house.
• Slowly but surely, the large vehicle moved towards the city center. The streets grew busier and soon became congested. Mira and Dallas were stuck in traffic. The car couldn’t move at all, and Dallas started considering alternative routes.
• “I didn’t think the traffic would be this bad,” Dallas muttered.
