Chapter 66 Misunderstood!

• Mira did not realize that it was already time for the night visit. As usual, they were checking on her husband. Since Matteo was still asleep, the medical staff only took a brief look and promised to come back once Matteo was awake.
• “I’ll let the nurse know when my husband wakes up,” Mira said. The two nurses then left Matteo’s room, leaving Mira who was startled by the surprise. She sat back down on the sofa, cursing herself for the slip of the tongue about her lover.
• “Yes, that’s how worried I am about Dallas,” she murmured. The concern stayed with her even as she returned to her waking state. Mira closed her eyes again. Shortly after, there was a knock at the door, and she saw the catering staff bringing dinner for her. Mira thanked the staff.
