Chapter 31 — Why Isn't She Answering?

• Elara stared at the fried rice she had made, realizing she couldn’t possibly eat that much. So, she decided to take it as lunch to the office and give the rest to her house assistants.
• “Aren’t you having breakfast, ma’am?” one of the assistants asked.
• “No, I’m running late. I’ll eat at the office. Oh, and if Mr. Dallas asks about the fried rice later, just say it was thrown away because it tasted bad. It was too salty or something. Just make an excuse,” she instructed. She no longer wanted her husband to eat her cooking.
