Chapter 28 — Jealousy

• Mira tried to think of something else, not wanting to admit that she was jealous. “Maybe it’s more accurate to say that I’m envious. Dallas is back with his wife, sharing affection while I am not,” she thought.
• Usually, Mira enjoyed the night scenery, but this time, she preferred to close her eyes tightly. She missed her husband many times over. In her heart, she kept praying to God to be with Matteo soon. “Oh God,” she said, letting out a long sigh from her cherry lips.
