Chapter 16 Grandma Fainted Again

• It was already the next morning when Summer woke up. She tried moving for a bit before the scorching pain on her back made her wide awake almost instantly. After regaining her consciousness, Summer realized that both she and Wyatt were on a hospital bed.
• It was too narrow for the two of them to be on the hospital single bed, so Wyatt hugged Summer tightly as their bodies cramped closely to each other. Summer could even hear the man’s heartbeat clearly. Ba-dum, ba-dum… It was the same frequency as her own heartbeat.
• Summer’s lips curled up unconsciously, as this was the first time someone cuddled her to sleep. It was also her first time hearing someone else’s heartbeat in such close proximity.
