• The next day, Carson came up to my room and walked me downstairs for breakfast. As soon as we got to the table, I could sense Axel's eyes on me. After he warned me to not expect a repeat of what happened in the forest, I stayed out of his way. Not like I was expecting anything.
• I was not surprised that Axel was like that towards me. I knew he did not like me at all. It was evident in the way he touched me. It was completely different from Carson and Brody's touch. I could not deny that I enjoyed it.
