• I was enjoying the music playing from my speaker. It filled the room, blurring out sound from outside. I sang along while cleaning my body. I had just come out of the shower after a refreshing bath. I was still toweling my body when my wolf whimpered.
• Then she jolted, signaling to me that someone was close by. I went to the window and checked. There was no one coming from the gate. I rolled my eyes questioningly and went back to drying my skin.
