• Luke and Rue were just kids, so it was normal for them to feel apprehensive even though they understood what the toys stated wasn't real. They finally felt better after hearing what Mona said, and they hold her in their arms.
• Mona got more and more unhappy when she saw how sad the kids were, but she didn't show it. She said in a serious tone, "Remember, you can always ask me if you have any questions. Don't keep them a secret.”
• Luke and Rue nodded in agreement.
