Chapter 22 Mystery And Flashback

• I stood watching as she ran back to the main building, with tears in her eyes. I wish there was anything that I can do to ease her pains but I can't have dad risking her future because of me. I never knew dad was capable of manipulation until when I had come back the other day and went to meet him in his study. His words will always be evident in my mind:
• “ Dad, how are you?” I had called out to him as I have shown myself into the study. Dad's head was buried in the files in front of him as he glanced through them without acknowledging my presence.
• I was about to go back to my room seeing that he was busy and unable to attend to me when his cold voice made me stiffened“ I thought I asked you to break up with that girl. Why are the both of you still together?” Dad called angrily to me as he threw the files on me.
