Chapter 3 Valerie

• It's been three weeks that I've spent with the Thompson's and I've never regretted a day out of it. My days start with the usual routine of cleaning the young master's bedroom. I've not yet met the young master, though I like it so much. I wish I will never have to see him cos from what I've heard about him, he's not a likeable person.
• "Thank God today is Saturday. No classes for me" Audrey screams, getting out of bed sluggishly. I smiled at her. I've also started going for dance classes at Thompson's Entertainment where young master work as the CEO. I love it so much and I can't wait to resume back on Monday.
• The door opens and Gia rushes in panting breathlessly obviously, she has been running but why?
• "Guess what?” She said as she tried to catch her breath looking from Audrey to me and then back to Lisa smiling excitedly.
• "I'm not good at guessing so count me out" I said as I sat back down on the bed. She scoffs at me and turns to look at Lisa and Audrey expectantly.
• "Well, Mrs. Thompson has decided to increase our salary" Audrey said, I thought so too. She's in love with anything money.
• "No? that's not it" Gia said disappointed that no one could guess right
• " It's about food then," Liza said Jumping up excitedly. Gosh!she likes food.
• "Still a No" Gia said "None of you can guess the good news?” She asked with surprise.
• "Can you tell us already" I said looking at her"The suspense is killing us here".
• "Okay fine. I'll tell you guys" She said laughing,"Young master is coming back today".
• "So?" We all asked her clearly annoyed that this was what she wanted to say from the beginning.
• We all disperse to our various duties leaving her standing shocked in the middle of our room. She recovered fast as she joined Lisa in the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the home.
• While I went to the third floor to start my daily routine. I have just finished cleaning the bathroom and I was so tired, I decided to rest a bit on the bed. It was so soft that I soon slept off.
• "What's going on here?" A voice screams as I scramble out of the bed and knelt down on the floor pleading with the person without looking up with tears in my eyes. I couldn't help remembering those times when Tiana used to beat me for sleeping on her bed.
• "Why were you screaming?" A man said as he entered the room, he looked from the lady to me on the floor crying my eyes out.
• "I met her sleeping on your bed" The lady said with hatred laced her voice.
• "That does not call for this Leslie." He said as he turn to look at me" stand up and go to your quarters I'II call you when I need you”
• I look up at him to see blue eyes staring at me. I gasp, he's so beautiful up close. I stared into his eyes which were drawing me in to explore their depth, I leaned in to him closing my eyes.
• "Are you deaf? Get out of my room now" He shouted. I scramble out of the room without taking anything with me embarrassed.
• I ran into our room panting, thankful that no one was there to see me. I couldn't believe I was expecting him to kiss me. His eyes, gosh!, they are so beautiful and they are the one drawing me in.
• “Val, remember he's your brother that's what Mrs. Thompson said” I gulped loudly as I lay down on the bed panting as I tried to bring my breathing back to normal. I can't believe that I wanted him to kiss me.
• What will he think of me now? Stupid girl....
• The door opened and Audrey walked in, she stopped short when she saw my eyes red and puffy. My cheeks are painted in red. Gosh!I'm so embarrassed right now.
• "Are you okay?" She rushed to me and checked all over my body for any signs of pain. I huff at her being so dramatic though I love it so much. I've never had anyone do that to me.
• "Of course I'm fine "I replied, avoiding her eyes.
• “Then why is your face red and puffy?" She asked me clearly not believing that I'm fine.
• "I was_________" Gia and Lisa walk in cutting my sentence short as I look down embarrassed.
• "What is wrong with her?"Gia said whispering to Audrey.
• "I don't know yet. She was in the middle of telling me before you two barge in and interrupted us"Audrey said glaring at Gia, who head over to her bed and sat down as she stuck out her tongue at Audrey
• "Okay, we all here what is wrong with you?" Lisa said she was also seated on her bed.
• I______ young master got me sleeping on his bed" I said putting my face down from embarrassment.
• I expected them to shout at me for sleeping on the young master's bed but not for them to laugh. I look at all of them with surprised
• "Is that why you were crying? Gosh! You are such a baby?” Gia said as she looked at me weirdly and walked out.
• Lisa looked at me too, laughing and shaking her head as she walked out too. What's so funny that they are all laughing?
• "What is going on? Aren't you guys supposed to shout at me" I asked Audrey who remained in the room with me shocked.
• “Why should we do that?" She looked at me amused with what I just said.
• "I thought_______”
• "Don't. We were all guilty of what you did today on our first day too. On my first day at work, I slept off in Mr and Mrs Thompson's bed" She said shruggling like it was a natural thing to do.
• "What?!"I exclaim in shock.
• "Yes. Anyway let's leave that. Hope young master didn't say anything?"
• "No," I said, putting my face down as I remembered his curt words to me when I tried to kiss him.
• "But, there was a lady with him who screamed at me" I continued looking at her wondering who that lady was.
• "Oh! I see you've met Leslie''Audrey said, folding her clothes into her bag. She stays with her mom very far from the Thompson's estate. She goes home on weekends to visit her mom unlike the rest of us who don't have anyone to visit.
• "Leslie?" I ask her, surprised.
• "Yes, she is young master's girlfriend"
• Oh!" I exclaim sadly. I didn't know he had a girlfriend.
• "Anyway I_____" The land phone ringing cut whatever Audrey wanted to say short as she went to pick it up.
• "Hello" She called into the phone.
• “Okay. Yes, she is here” She said looking at me.I look at her curious to know who called.
• "Okay.Yes sir, I will tell her"Audrey said and hung up.
• She turns to look at me with a forced smile “that was young master, he said you should get him a glass of juice and next time you should be the one answering the call" She said as she picked up her bag to leave.
• Gosh! I hate him, he's so commanding. To think that I nearly kissed him a while ago. Oh! My virgin lips.
• Audrey looked at me curiously and hesitantly like she wanted to say something else but she hugged me instead "I'm going to miss you Valerie. Do take care of yourself"
• "I will miss you too. Bye" I said as I stood and watched her walk out with her bag. I walk into the kitchen to get young master his juice. I walk up to his room and knock as I braced myself for what is going to happen next...

• I felt so disappointed immediately I heard Audrey voice on the phone. I was curious to hear her voice that I picked up the phone and dial the maid quarter's number without thinking.
• Now I'm on edge waiting for her to come to me. I can't believe no woman has ever made me feel like this in my twenty-four years except her. “Is this love? Who are you kidding Victor, this is pure lust when you are satisfied you will throw her away like the trash she is. Yes,this is exactly what this is” I said nodding to myself...
• "Come in" I called out to her immediately I heard a knock on the door. Thank God, Leslie has gone out for shopping with Mom. She walked in carrying the tray of juice as I finally looked at her.
• She is on the short side with long black hair which was tied at the back with a band. She has brown eyes that pierce deep into my soul.
• I avoided her eyes that seemed to see through me as I cleared my throat "Put the tray over there" I said pointing over to a table, she walked over there and bent down to drop the tray gently on the table giving me a glimpse of her backside. She turned to leave as I called her back.
• "Wait?" She turned to look at me with a questionable look in her eyes.
• I run my hands through my hair "I'm sorry about earlier. I would like to know you more since you are my personal maid" She continues looking at me curiously.
• "Why" She finally said as my breath hitched in my chest. Gosh!, her voice is just like an angel but I'm not planning to tell her that.
• "Well, obviously my mom likes you. She couldn't stop praising you. It takes a very long time for my mom to warm up to someone, so I will really want to know you" Victor well done for babbling like an idiot.
• Wow!! an award winning actor doesn't know how to get a maid into his bed. Nice!!
• "I'm sorry but I don't want to know someone like you" She said as walk out of me.
• “Really? Did she just walk out of me?” I screamed as I threw my hand up in the hair, frustrated.
• "Obviously yes! I just saw that" Oscar smirk happily. I ran up to where I put my laptop, I've forgotten that I was on a video call with Oscar before she came in now he's not going to stop teasing me.
• "You didn't see anything, Oscar," I said as I walked back and sat down on my study chair.
• "Really?" He looked at me frowning playfully" But what to do, I did see you babbling and embarrassing yourself like an idiot you are".
• "Oh! You are calling me an idiot. You are more of an idiot because you have never got under a skirt before" I said, teasing him of his Virginity.
• "You are just angry that she refused your offer of a quick sex. I wish I was in New York right now I would have asked her to marry me immediately” He said fanning himself with his hands dramatically I rolled my eyes at him
• "You are such a drama king,Oscar".
• "Well, what do you think they call me Oscar for?"He replied, smiling "Who would ever thought that I would live to see the day that a girl turned down the almighty Victor Thomson?" He said, articulating the words dramatically with his hands.
• I huff as I angrily slammed down the laptop and walk into the bathroom to take another cold shower.Valerie, you will pay for humiliating me.
• “Watch out because you will beg me to give you a glimpse of my apple and then I will humiliate you back" I said smiling to myself happily, my adrenaline rushing furiously from the challenge.
• I walk back to the room and mentally put my plans into actions. Let's go and get Valerie!!!.
