Chapter 15 The Last Scene

• It has been three weeks since Valerie and I broke up and I couldn't say I regretted it. It was tearing my heart to see her mopped around the house with tears in her eyes. It pained me more to know that I was the reason for those tears.
• We lived together but she avoided me like I was a plague. She had moved back into the guest room. She prepared breakfast before I woke up, ate, and left for the set before we could meet. The only time we talked was on set when she asked one or two things drama-related.
• Right now, I was going through the script for the final rehearsal we were having before the launching of the movie but I couldn't concentrate. Why? Because she was sitting opposite me laughing and joking with Oscar.
