Chapter 7

• Samantha picked up her glass and took a sip of the content inside. As soon as she tasted the liquid, she jweked her head up to look a Adrian in surprise. The man Had ordered her the exact same cocktail she had at the party, but how did he know that she liked it? Could it have been a coincidence?
• Seeing The reaction Samantha had, the other two ladies also tasted drinks and nodded in satisfaction, Samantha even whispered.
• "This Mr Khoza is not a bad person after all."
• They had expected that the man would force them to finish a bottle or two of hard liquor but as it seems, the man was not as harsh as they had thought, so they lowered their guards and started having light conversation.
• Little did they know that Adrian who had acted like he was not there and sat on a couch opposite their with his phone in his hands responding to work email, was actually aware of what was happening in that section. There was a slight smile desplayed on his face as he heard Samantha's.
• 'Oh so now she thinks I'm not so bad anymore, huh!'
• The night went by without any interaction between the man and the three girls but they did not care at all as they were having a great time. As the alcohol entered their system they began dancing around their booth, even Samantha had the courage to tease Adrian.
• She went up to him and grabbed his phone out of his hands and said.
• "Hey, weren't you the one who said we were being unappreciative when we wanted to leave? Yet you, the host, are the one who is busy on his phone and not being hospitable. Talk about being disrespectful! "
• The last part came out as a whisper yet packed with venom. Adrian did not react at first, he was surprised by the boldness of this woman who dared touch his stuff without his permission. He looked at the hand holding his phone, then shifted his gaze to the woman's face.
• "What are you going to do about it?"
• Noticing the interaction between the two, everyone pauses and looked at them in fear. Even Chad was starting to think that the woman was really stupid, why on earth would she provoke a lion in its own territory, surely she was looking for trouble right.
• "drink! Join in the fun."
• She ordered as she stretched out her hand to give glass of the cocktail they were having. While the others were holding their breaths, Samantha had already responded to Adrian. She couldn't understand why the others were so scared of him, it's true that he is a dangerous man but he is also human just like them.
• ' Or maybe it's the alcohol that is talking, coz why would I think this man isn't scary?'
• She thought to herself starting to regret her decision as the man continued to stare at her and said nothing. Seeing that the man was not taking the drink from her, Samantha looked down in disappointment she turned around and was about to walk back to her friends when she suddenly felt a strong wrap around her waist and pulled her in.
• "ah!"
• She screamed in shocked and instinctively held on to the man for support. She looked up at him and asked
• "what are you doing? "
• Adrian lowered his head and looked straight in to her eyes and replied.
• "Drinking and having fun, like you asked. "
• His voice was flat, not showing any emotion and that did not prepare Samantha for what was about to happen. She again tried to give him the cocktail glass but instead of taking it Adrian smashed his lips in to hers.
• The kiss was gently and the took his time, it was as if he was tasting every corner of her month.
• "AHEEM"
• Samantha who was in a daze was brought back to her senses by the sound of someone clearing their throat. She put her hands on Adrian's chest and pushed him as hard as she could, but the man did not move an inch. He stopped kissing her and gently wiped the lipstick that had smudged on Samantha's lips, only after he had finished wiping her that did he finally release her.
• "Hey, how dare you take advantage of me like that? "
• As she was freed from the man's grip, Samantha seemed you have also found her voice, the woman was angry, Livid to say the least. Adrian had stolen her first kiss and she wasn't happy about that, it was her first precious kiss for heaven sake! And she will not be getting that back.
• "Too sweet, I prefer the crisp taste of whiskey. "
• Adrian responded absentmindedly and as he sat back down and sipped his whiskey in the glass in his hand.
• Seeing this Samantha glared at him, wishing she could just give him a hot slap on his cheek for violating her like that, but she was not raised like that. She was not going to hit someone because this, but she would make sure to let him know how she felt.
• When Adrian looked up at the girl who was still standing in front of him, he wanted to laugh. Her cheeks were puffed and it seemed like she wanted to hit, to him, she looked like an angry little kitten.
• "what?"
• He asked with a bit of amusement in his voice.
• "Or do you want more?"
• This time he asked with one brow slightly raised, his last question was provoking. Although he was saying all of these this, his face was still as cold as a block of ice making it difficult for others to guess what was going on in his mind.
• " More? I'm sorry Mr Khoza but full of yourself sir, nobody wants anything from you not after you violated me."
• "mhm, how did tasting a drink become a violation? "
• "You kiss me! You've taken something precious from me something meant for my future boyfriend!"
• She covered her mouth immediately after the last word dropped as she realized that she had over shared. Unfortunately for her Adrian had heard everything and there was no taking back her words.
• "So? What so special about your future boyfriend? Since I've already taken something so precious to you, I will take responsibility for you and from now on call me your boyfriend. "
• He said this with a shrug not even looking at the poor girl. Seeing that Adrian wasn't taking her seriously, she stomped her feet in frustration and said
• "you know what, forget about it! "
• She then turned around and walked to her friends, and said
• "let's go"
• This time Adrian didn't stop them at all and only watched the girl's back as she left with her friends.
• As the girls were about to stop a taxi, a black suv slowly pulled up in front of them and the window on their side was wound down showing Chad in the the driver's seat.
• "Hop in, I will take you guys home."
• The ladies all shook their heads at the same time as they didn't want to trouble the man anymore. Samantha too didn't want to see Aiden after how he had violated her in front of so many people.
• "Well it's the boss' order, you guys have been drinking don't you think it would be safer if I take you home compared to a complete stranger?"
• "But You are also a stranger to us Sir."
• "well unlike a random taxi driver, we are well known in the city, we have a reputation to protect."
