• It was exactly at that moment when the Dean realized that he had messed up really badly. His fists were balled up tightly as he ground his teeth trying hard to stop himself from screaming.
• He cursed at Samantha inwardly, how could he know that the poor girl was acquainted with such a scary but well respected man? He felt betrayed by those who had instigated him to mess with this woman in the first place, but what could he possibly do about it, he was nothing compared to those families, even if he were to stand up against them, he was most likely to lose the battle and his job along with everything else.
• From now on, he will just focus on pleasing Samantha. He thought maybe by that Aiden would eventually notice it and possibly let bygones be bygones.
