Chapter 37 Love Isn't Enough

• He stayed in the office throughout the night. When day broke, he braced himself as he went back to his bedroom. Standing before the door leading to the room, he thought about knocking before he entered. He hesitated at first before going for it.
• He knocked multiple times, but Louis didn’t answer. Growing impatient, he pushed the door open and went into the room. He strode to the bed and met it empty.
• Louis's vanilla scent filled the room with so much intensity proving that he was somewhere around the room. He went straight to the bathroom and checked inside. What he saw made his heart stop.
