Chapter 2 Kiss Me

  • Louis rose from the bed. He looked around the dim room trying to understand why he was there. And it was then that it suddenly hit him. He had been kidnapped. He gripped the sheet on the bed and hugged it close to his chest.
  • Something creaked in the distance. His heart beat fast as he looked in that direction. “Who is that?”
  • He moved backward on the bed, resting his back on the headrest. He squinted his eyes to see what was creaking, but the room was too dark. Not even a single light was coming into the room. He looked at the window and noticed it was already twilight. He must have slept through the whole day.
  • He heard movement and just then something moved in the air and flicked as a fire emerged from a lighter. Due to the small light that was ignited, Louis could make out the face of the man holding the lighter. Edward. He remembered his Father calling that man that name.
  • Edward brought a cigarette to his lip and lit it. Then the fire in the lighter quenched and the room went dark.
  • “Please let me go,” Louis pleaded again, trembling on the bed.
  • In the darkness, Edward took a long drag of his cigarette and said calmly. “Crawl towards me.”
  • Louis gripped the sheet tightly, shaking his head. “No,” he said weakly.
  • Many things were playing in his head. What if Edward brought him here to kill him? What if he wanted to sell him off to pay for his father's debt?
  • “Crawl towards me, Louis,” Edward insisted.
  • His aura shifted into something more dangerous. There was a strong pull behind his command. Twisting into every fiber in Louis, forcing him to obey his command. Louis didn't understand what it could be, but he found his body obeying before his mind even figured out what he was doing. He got down from the bed and lowered himself toward the cold tiled floor. With a slow and steady pace, he crawled toward Edward. It was hard to see where he was due to the darkness in the room, but the creaking chair was enough to direct his movement. He stopped crawling once he was before the chair Edward was sitting on.
  • “Sit on my lap,” Edward gave his next order.
  • Louis scratched the smooth floor, forcing his body to disobey, but something about the tone Edward had used on him made it very hard not to do so. His muscles locked in and like he was in a trance, he rose to his feet and climbed onto the chair, resting his butt gently on Edwstd’s lap. His body stiffened immediately they made contact. It felt strange, sitting on another man’s lap in such an intimate position. He was facing Edward and even though he couldn’t see him, he felt Edward’s gaze on him. Studying him, analyzing him, trying to see if he was going to make a wrong move.
  • “Put your arms around my neck,” Edward ordered.
  • Louis fiddled with his hands as he raised them towards Edward’s neck. Slowly, he touched his neck and flinched like he was going to burn him if he wasn't careful. Maybe it would. Everything about being this intimate with Edward in the dark just made it even scarier.
  • He swallowed, encircling his arms around Edward.
  • With his hand locked around Edward’s neck, he could feel how close they were. How hot Edward’s breath was against his neck. He could feel the warmth eradicating from him. The tension in his muscles. He could feel everything and it was unnerving.
  • He felt Edward looking at his lip. Louis didn't think he was. They were in a dark room, entangled with each other. It was uncertain to know if Edward was staring at his lip, but then he said the word Louis had been dreading since he had climbed onto his lap.
  • “Kiss me.”
