• The next day, Louis woke up to a loud knock on his bedroom door. He groaned in his sleep and forced his eyes open. He got out of bed and slouched toward the door to open it. To his surprise, he saw Malik standing in the doorway.
• He looked back at the clock and became even more confused when he saw that the time was still six o'clock in the morning. Why did Malik come to wake him that early? Was the house burning or something?
• “Malik?” Louis said with a frown, his voice sounding sleepy.
