• Vector glanced at the time and forcefully swung open the doors to his home office. To pacify that damn kid, he had no damn choice but to call one of the maids, who hurried to his aid as fast as she could. Once she managed to calm the little shit down and escort him to his room, Vector ascended the stairs to oversee the attack.
• Marcus was at the helm of the team of badass pros they had brought in, and while he would merely be overseeing the operation from afar, Vector made damn sure Marcus got the message loud and clear: no messing around. There was absolutely no frickin’ way they could afford any traces leading back to them. They had to pull this off with some serious smarts and efficiency.
• Once Vector’s laptop screen flickered to life, he leaned back, his anticipation building as he waited for the second hand on the clock to complete its full rotation on the wall. When it struck twelve, it was go time.
