Chapter 12

• I force my weary body into the shower, change, and make my way to the workplace.
• "I'd like updates. The moment I get into my office, Eric says, "Don't leave a single thing out."
• There isn't much to say other than how awesome Julian is and that I drank enough margaritas to last me a year. My mind is still racing, and I believe I can feel my heart beating in the corner of my eye. Eric's high-pitched voice and insatiable curiosity do little to quell the tempest building inside my thoughts.
