• I walked into the council chamber with Emily by my side, my heart pounding in my chest. The room was already packed, and as I looked around, my eyes immediately landed on Lia, who was holding a baby in her arms. My mind raced. Was this really her child? Where did she even get the baby if she was never pregnant?
• I stood frozen, my anger building as I stared at her. I could feel the fire burning within me, and all I wanted to do was go over there and confront her. How could she do this?
