Chapter 13

• Emily.
• I walked back into the room and collapsed on the bed, resting my head in my hands. I felt lost and overwhelmed, as if I was on the brink of losing my sanity. What was truly happening to me? I had initially come for revenge, not for love. Yet, I found myself developing confusing feelings for him. I wanted to teach him a lesson, to be cold and rude, but deep down, I also longed for him. I wanted him to feel the same pain I was feeling and to understand that it was because of him that I had joined the pack.
• Struggling to contain my anger, I resolved to make sure he experienced the same anguish I was going through. I was determined to impart a lesson to him that he would never forget.
