• I sat on my bed, feeling my heart racing so fast that I couldn't tell what was really happening. Was I developing feelings again? I thought everything I had pushed away had gone. Why was this feeling trying to resurface now? I had tried so hard to keep it at bay, so why was it coming back?
• Closing my eyes, I looked at myself in the mirror for a moment. I knew that I needed to be strong if I truly wanted to seek revenge. I felt sick. I wanted everyone to pay for the pain they made me feel. Just looking at Alpha Drake of the Crimson Pack bowing at the feet of a lady.
