• Jared sighed, looking at his son. Mason was playing with a huge truck, making it roar with some children's songs. This had continued for more than half an hour, even after Jared had distracted him and started playing with him and other toys. Mason had still kept his hand on the truck's roof. His son was a stubborn child, and even if these loud sounds could make someone's soul scream in fury, Jared was ecstatic he had such a lively child.
• His heart clenched. It was hard to let go of him even for a minute.
