• Jared cut the engine of his car and took the key out of the ignition. When he stepped out of it, he studied the place. A nice two-story house stood in front of him. But it was kind of in the middle of nowhere. There were trees surrounding it, and the only neighbors around were a few miles away.
• This house was different from Amely's home, which was in one of the richer neighborhoods in their town. His mate's place was bordering werewolves' houses on the left and the right, and the only place filled with trees was the backyard. It extended into the small forest he had almost attacked her in the first time he consciously shifted.
