• "WHAT'S the plan, Miles? Next week would be your birthday, right?" Andrea said excitedly as we left the building. We just finished our work and we are all stressed from the amount of work. I want to rest my brain because I've used it all day.
• My eyes narrowed but my mouth parted and eventually smiled as I shook my head. I remembered that it's my birthday next week and that will be my thirtieth year in the world and just like they expected, the curse will be broken because I'm married.
• "I forgot, Andrea," I confessed. "With so much happening, being so busy at work, I forgot that my birthday is next week," I said sadly.
