Chapter 60 The Unexpected

• THE MORNING, Zandy and I were surprised when both of our parents came to the house one after the other. Uncle Andrew and Aunt Mandy arrived first and a few minutes later, Mom and Dad arrived.
• "How are you, hija?" Aunt Mandy asked me kindly as Zandy and I sat side by side on the long sofa. Mom and Dad are on one sofa and Aunt Mandy and Uncle Andrew are opposite us.
• I smiled. "I'm fine, Aun—Mom," I answered shyly because I almost called her Aunt again. I don't even know what else to say. I suddenly felt tense and nervous.
